Who's behind mycssite
A trade guy who got tired of programmers who'd never run a crew.
Who We Are
mycssite is the marketing arm of Clean Slate Innovations. We build sites, map listings and an answered phone for owner-operated trades — tree service, septic, roofing and cleaning — and price it in jobs, not jargon. We build for small and mid-size businesses across the United States.
Who's behind this
Hi, I'm Scott, I framed houses and built cabinets as a teenager. Then aviation — a pilot, and a mechanic working under an IA. Then I started my own cleaning company, moved into septic with SepticWorkz, and built Clean Slate Innovations for industrial wastewater management. I've sold to homeowners and I've sold to plants and municipalities, so I know both sides: the customer who calls at 8 pm, and the buyer who wants paperwork.
Every programmer I hired to build what those companies needed had never swung a hammer or run a crew. They brought back solutions that looked good and didn't work — and showed how little they understood about how a business actually runs. So I learned to build the code myself: first the websites, then the tools behind them. In 2019 a cancer diagnosis took me off the job site, and code became my full-time work.
Those tools now run my own companies. I build them for other trades: tree service, septic, roofing, cleaning. I don't sell websites. I get local trades found, called, and booked, and I price it in jobs because that's how you count.

Our Approach
No templates, no drag-and-drop builders. Every site is built by hand, fast on a cheap phone, and set up to show up on the map for the towns you actually work.
We don't just build the site and disappear. See what we've built for our own companies, or check how your business shows up right now.
